Why We Love Webflow

As you probably already know, we are big fans of Webflow. All our sites are developed on the no code platform and our customers love it! And for those who are curious to know more about the no code movement, we have already praised its advantages in this article.

Webflow, a high-performance no-code tool

Since its creation in 2013, Webflow has won over the hearts of thousands of web designers. Easy to use, powerful, complete, and 100% customizable, Webflow is one of the major players in the no-code market today. 

A 100% customizable visual development interface

Webflow users are unanimous on this point: the tool's development interface, called by its nickname the Designer, is very easy to learn (especially if we compare to its closest competitor, Wordpress, which is much less intuitive). The clear advantage that Webflow Designer has is that it has no limits. We can create fully bespoke websites, without any constraints.

The Designer lets you build your site's structure and appearance. You can add content and set up the desired animations– all this, by visually manipulating HTML content, CSS properties and JavaScript interactions, without having to write a single line of code. Webflow takes care of writing the source code of what you create, to prepare it for the web. In short, you are completely free to create the site you want.

The simplest back office 

Webflow’s back office is incredibly intuitive, too. Called Editor, it is a slightly less technical back office, allowing text or image content to be modified directly visually on the site. 

It is also possible to easily add content thanks to their “collections” system which groups like content, such as blog posts, events, room categories for the case of a hotelier, for example– the list is long. This allows our customers to be able to manage the content of their website without requiring any technical knowledge of the tool.

Database management using the Webflow CMS

The Webflow database management system, also called CMS (short for Content Management System) is done using the collections mentioned earlier. The major advantage of this system is that it can be managed from the Editor and the Designer, which allows our customers to manage their site data simply and independently. 

Security 

Security is taken very seriously at Webflow. That is to say, they have adapted their program to certain standards such as the ISO 27001 standard or the critical security controls of the CIS. On top of that, Webflow is GDPR compliant, so you can rest easy when it comes to the security of your personal data and that of your users. It is hosted at Amazon Web Services and therefore benefits from all the advantages, security included, that go along with AWS. 

Unlimited integrations

Do you want to make a change to your Webflow site, but it's not (yet) possible natively? No problem– you can connect different integrations in two ways: 

• Either by adding a piece of code (it’s actually very easy: just copy paste the code offered by the tool that you want to connect and paste in the appropriate part of Webflow), such as testing tools, tools allowing you to display your site in different languages, etc. 
• Or connect the solution using automation platforms such as Zapier, Make, N8N, Workato, Automate.io… 

Free educational training

Webflow has made available to its community a learning platform, Webflow University which has hundreds of high-quality (and fun!) videos to enable its users to become masters of no-code development. With a little effort, anyone can develop a website that is optimized in all respects, and fully personalized. The videos are divided into levels, from beginner to advanced. Plus, the Webflow community forum is also a real gold mine for all the young Webflow padawan! 

Optimized natural referencing 

Finally, at Webflow, they designed their platform so that we have everything available without much difficulty. It is therefore possible to simply edit the meta titles and descriptions of each page in one click, but also to edit the alt tags of each image simply, implement 301 redirects without asking for help from a computer expert, and generate a sitemap natively. The natural referencing of your site has never been so easy to manage.

In short, we believe that Webflow is truly one of the best tools on the market today, especially since according to recent announcements from the Webflow Conf, new features will be implemented by 2023. And believe us, these new features will change our lives even more!
